Dr. Stephanie Perez, DPT
My name is Stephanie Perez and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy Working with patients over the past ten years I have discovered that while there are therapy services available, sometimes it is hard to find the time to make it to appointments due to babies, naps, busy schedules, or location. I created Empowered Wellness in order to provide pelvic floor therapy on a concierge and virtual platform, allowing for greater access to women's health services so that everyone can get the help and healing that they need.
I am passionate about helping people and giving hope. I offer a holistic approach to treatment and my goal is to empower my patients and restore function and confidence in their bodies. I look forward to working with you!
Kristi Holland, OTR/L
My name is Kristi and I graduated from University of Missouri with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. My life changed when I became a mother. During pregnancy, I believed I could manage the birth of my daughter with only support from my family and friends, however my birth plan fell apart while I labored in the hospital.I didn’t realize the true importance of the baby’s position, breathing techniques, and birthing positions until I had to navigate through the back labor and later pelvic floor dysfunction. That’s when I became passionate about empowering women to take control of their pelvic floor health and wellness. Although pelvic floor issues may be common during pregnancy and postpartum, they are not normal.I want to support my clients during their journey to learn about their bodies and how to decrease some of the unpleasant symptoms they are experiencing, such as leaking, pain, or heaviness. My goal is to get you back to having confidence in the capability of your body and enjoying those everyday moments!
